Congratulations to Gisell Flores who has been selected to be next year’s Polk State Public Service Scholar for LRHS.  She will serve as an ambassador for Polk State.  In return, she will receive a scholarship at Polk for two years which is worth $7,000.

 

Students who are signed up for AP World History or AP Psychology next year please see Coach Euverard in Room 1204 for summer assignment info before the end of the school year.  It will be on the School Website through the summer – Please stop by 1204 for the welcome letter!

 

Mrs. Weeks would like ALL members of the recycle club to plan to attend Thurs. to assist with recycling. She will award double hours & a special treat.

June 2 will be an Early Release Day.

 

For the remainder of the school year, No backpacks should be brought to campus.

Teachers – Administration needs your assistance with keeping students in class. We appreciate your efforts with this as an important part of keeping the campus safe and secure for everyone. Thank you also for being at your door during transitions times to monitor and help provide a safe environment.

Students – Please make sure that you are in your assigned area throughout each day. Those students who are found out of area without permission, run the risk of suspension. Be sure that you are reporting to the food court during your lunch period every day. We very much appreciate all students that are doing what is needed each day to be a successful Lake Region student.

Attention all girls interested in joining weightlifting in the upcoming school year. There will be an informational meeting about summer workouts on Wednesday May 31st at 2:45 in the weight room. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Ortiz in room 1-209.

 

If anyone is interested in playing Volleyball next year, we will be having an informational meeting on Wednesday at 2:30 in the gym (right before the weightlifting meeting).
