I teach an ESE (Exceptional Student Education) unit which includes History, Science, English and Careers. What led/influenced me to teaching Exceptional Student Education was through my first seven years of teaching elementary school. I saw the growing need for more teachers to work with special needs students. I have been at Lake Region for 21 years. The best thing about teaching at Lake Region is that the students and teachers care about those students. My classroom provides a caring and concerned environment aimed at preparing students for life after high school. Classes are designed to teach students curriculum at a level they can understand. The most important thing students will learn after taking my class is that they can succeed. They learn the importance of working together, compromising, and making wise choices.
